Sydney - Bondi to Coogee

This morning, I woke up at 5 o'clock in the morning because I had to go on a short journey! Guess where... yeah Sydney. Mayu and I were picked up by a bus at 6.15am and were brought to Coolangatta Airport (Gold Coast).

We arrived in Sydney at about 10.30am and got to our accommodation near Kings Cross (which is near to the city) by train. After arriving and having a short rest, we went to Bondi Junction to meet my friend Eva from Switzerland (we were together at school)! Funny to meet a friend of your home country at the other end of the world... We met at the Westfield Shopping centre because I absolutely wanted to visit the restaurant Bondi Harvest, because I used to watch the cook videos! After about half an hour searching the restaurant (it is hidden in the middle of the fourth floor actually) we enjoyed an awesome, healthy lunch.

From the Westfield in Bondi Junction, we took a bus to Bondi Beach, Australia's most popular beach (because almost all people from Sydney go on this beach, so in summertime, it's always very, very crowded). At Bondi Beach, we started our trip to Coogee Beach. It's the "Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk". It's a very famous walk. The path goes 6km from Bondi to Tamarama to Bronte to Clovelly to Coogee. It was really beautiful, especially at the beginning in Bondi, because of the stone formations and the rocks! Check out my photos about this walk HERE.

After arriving at Coogee Beach, we hopped on a bus back to Bondi Junction and ate dinner in one of Westfield's restaurants. We also were at Woolworths (like a big-supermarket "monopole" here in New South Wales) to buy some food for tomorrow morning, because we have to stand up early in the morning again to visit Sydney!

Sorry for my spelling and grammar mistakes, I'm already very tired and almost fall asleep. So, have a nice day, evening or night and see you soon! Carpe diem!
